I am 39 years young, based in Bexleyheath, Kent, and a massive Bowie fan with a curiosity for all things ancient.
Photography has been part of my life from a young age but only upon leaving my role within the health service that it has become more than just a 'part'.
I love to read, create, explore, and thankfully photography taps into all three very well. There's nothing quite like reading about a place, monument or structure, usually hidden away in the middle of nowhere, ravaged by the sands of time and then going off on a voyage of discovery, back pack loaded and camera in tow.
Whether standing on a beach from dusk til dawn under complete hypnosis cast by the Milky Way, while a meteor shower plays out a disorderly celestial symphony amidst the orderly coherence of its calendrical timing, (WHAT?!), standing among ancient stones in pitch black darkness with the light of Jupiter as your beacon, or pyramid hunting in the twilight hours of a tiny countryside village with special friends!
These are just some of the things that oil my gears.
My love of music has seen me front a band for the best part of 20 years, writing, recording and gigging with good pals is something I hold very close to my heart, unflinching camaraderie and spirit while standing on a stage together is another extremely precious gift bestowed to me and unwavering in its potency to remind me of such special times.
Like most people I like a good movie, favourite films? 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Wars, A Clockwork Orange, Metropolis, Wicker Man, An American Werewolf In London, to name a few, I could go on, (and on), but I wont!
Peace out, thanks, and remember.....
